Small Acts is a project based in collective caretaking, skill sharing and barter economies.
Growing out from a fortnightly mending circle, Small Acts aims to provide an opportunity to open up conversations about the climate crisis and ways that we can all work towards circular economies.
Members of our community are invited take part in a new barter economy, where skills and knowledge are exchanged between neighbours, sharing time and labour for a more egalitarian future.
These small acts of community care will help us adopt less wasteful practices, gaining the skills or support we need to maintain our homes, gain more knowledge of ecological practices and foster new connections.
Small Acts builds towards an open-source compendium of green skills, complied by our community, for our community.
