Sat 10 October, 10am-12.30pm
In celebration of our new bike hub, we’re organising a fun, family bike ride to promote green travel in our community.
A fun and peaceful event, we’re urging all families and people of all ages and backgrounds to join. Wear bright colours, be heard, and show everyone what happy, calmer, friendlier streets look and feel like. Get involved! The ride will be marshalled and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet at Waterstone Crook Car Park at 10am, or join on the route. We’ll be making our way along the new cycle path to Flass Road, onwards to Birkill Avenue, and down Bay Road to Wormit Bay for a hot chocolate. We’ll then all cycle along Riverside Road together, up Flass Road and back along the path to Forgan Arts Centre for a picnic lunch.
Feel free to enjoy the rest of the day’s free activities at the centre or make your way home from there.
Please register in advance so that we have an idea of numbers on the day. It’s a fun, relaxed ride – we’ll be taking it easy and going at a manageable pace for everyone.
