Research shows that accessibility to and from Forgan Arts Centre is challenge for local people and rurally isolated people. Rural Connections aims to understand what barriers exist for our community and what we can do to remove them through a period of research, consultation, workshops and free events.
On The Table
On The Table is a programme of workshops developed in collaboration with community groups as part of Rural Connections. The workshops will use arts and crafts activities to create all the elements required for a community meal. From ceramic crockery, to hand printed table cloths, and home grown vegetables.
On The Table will culminate in a shared meal on Saturday 15 July, to find out more visit our events page.
This project is funded by Scottish Government Rural and Island Communities Idea into Action Fund supported by Inspiring Scotland.
Rural Connections is led by artist Ruby Pester. Ruby’s research and community consultation is culminating in a series of activities, workshops, and events called On The Table. If you’d like to get involved with On The Table visit our Events page to see upcoming activities.
