The Coorie Community Café is a creative space in which to spend time at Forgan Arts Centre. There’s always tea in the pot, coffee brewing, juice and snacks, all free of charge.
There will different art, craft, or gardening materials for you to experiment with, suitable for all ages. Or you’re very welcome to bring your own project, sketch book, or materials with you. We’re a community café, this means there aren’t any waiting staff, rather you’re able to help yourself to the coffee, tea and snacks. All we ask is that you wash up behind you. Packed lunches and picnics are welcome and encouraged.
Whether you want somewhere to catch up with friends, a place to rest after exploring the grounds and woodland, or somewhere to read, draw, or make, the Coorie Community Café is for you.
All activities are self-led. There is a Forgan Arts Centre team member to provide you with materials and some support, but there are no teaching staff or one-to-one tutoring.
