About the Workshop
Interested in starting your own wormery but wanting to learn a bit more about it before committing to looking after worms?
Join us for a wormery Q&A; meet the Forgan worms; learn about good worm keeping practice; what foods to avoid adding to your wormery; what to do with the worm wee (!) and all the black gold (super rich compost) the worms produce.
Vermiculture is a low carbon way to convert your kitchen waste into high quality plant food. We’ll cover a number of different set ups, visit the established wormery at Forgan, and have time for a cup of tea at the Coorie cafe.
What to Bring
This event will take place outside, please dress for the weather.
