Stained Glass: Friday Afternoon

Fridays, 1pm-3.30pm

Learn the traditional art of stained glass with local artist and maker, Keny drew. In this class, beginners will learn to lead, solder, and cut glass to make their own leaded panel. Students with more experience can learn new, more advanced design techniques to help further their practice and allow for working on more ambitious projects. The tutor can help you design your project and provide templates for beginners.

What to bring
Materials can be purchased from the tutor at the class. The tutor will also provide advance on what to buy and the best suppliers. Please bring photographs, images or objects for inspiration. A sketchbook and pencil are useful for drawing out your ideas and taking notes.

About the tutor
Keny Drew is a stained glass and fused glass artist working from his studio in the East Neuk of Fife. He has developed his own unique style with glass and together with his love of contemporary design he offers his clients a wealth of creative and modern glass ideas.
