Gardening for the Future

Volunteer meet up, every 1st & 3rd Saturday, 10am-4pm.

Gardening for the Future is your opportunity to volunteer with us in the garden. Led by gardener and environmentalist Dr Helena Simmons, volunteers of any age, ability, or experience can join in with gardening, growing, and environmental activities.

We want our gardens and grounds to be a place for people to use and enjoy – a shared community space. To do this, we need your help. From pruning and weeding, to growing flowers and vegetable, and maintaining and repairing raised beds and benches, there’s lots to do and we welcome you to pitch in as much or as little as you can.

We will provide tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits to sustain us through the day. You don’t need a ticket, just come along. Helena will be on site to support you to participate and welcome you to the centre.

We're sorry, but all ticket sales have ended.
