Saturday 27 June, 12.30-4.30pm
Spring is coming and with it comes an explosion of colour! Local fibre artist, Trish O’Meara of Wormit Woolies invites you to a colourful Felted Vessel Workshop inspired by the colours of the season! Beginning with some information on the history of felting and wool suitable for wet felting, Trish will then guide you through the step by step process to create your own one of a kind felted vessel. There will be lots of different colours of wool tops to choose from along with colourful silks, yarns and prefelt to decorate your vessel with. This is a fun and creative workshop that is suitable for beginners or those wishing to improve their felting skills.
What to bring
All materials are included, but participants will be required to bring an old towel each week to work their felt on. You may also want to bring pictures or objects that inspire your work.
