Here at Forgan Arts Centre, volunteers are a vital part of our community. We rely on the support of our volunteers to help us deliver events, projects and operations. Most importantly, the volunteers inform the centre’s strategic priorities, projects, and programmes of work through regular consultation and conversation.
Why volunteer?
As a volunteer, you can choose which types of activities you’d like to be involved in. There are lots of opportunities for socialising, attending events and activities, and learning new skills.
We always welcome suggestions from volunteers of new ways to get involved – please let us know what interests you. We are continually amazed by the breadth of skill and expertise within our volunteer community and hope that we can continue to discover new volunteering opportunities to cater to these.
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you like. We ask all volunteers to complete a registration form so we can add you to our mailing list. The form also tells us what you might like to do at the centre and if you have any access or support needs.
Volunteer activities do not interfere with your ability to claim benefits or applications for asylum.
Register as a volunteer
If you’d like to register your interest as a volunteer, please complete a registration form. You can fill out the form online here, download using the link below, or you can visit the centre to collect one in person.
It is not compulsory to complete an Equalities Monitoring Form, but it would help us assess the accessibility of our opportunities. You can fill out the form online here, download using the link below, or you can visit the centre to collect one in person.
Please email your forms to volunteer@forganartscentre.co.uk or drop them into the centre.
