Introduced at the Living Table, curated by artist Désirée Coral, the seed library is free for all to access. We encourage new and experienced gardeners and everyone in between to take some seed and try growing something. If you are successful and can return some seed at the end of the growing season, we’ll be delighted to add it to our seed library offering.
By sharing seeds grown locally we will start to select plants which are well adapted to the area, ensuring a better chance of success for the gardeners and sharing the natural abundance of the local community.
The seed library is located just inside the front door of the Forgan building, small envelopes of seed are available to take home and grow yourself. A book is nearby to note what you have taken, or brought to share.
