Community Gardening is a public engagement project in partnership with University College London. The pilot is a piece of research into how to set up collaborations between universities and external sectors, and how creative and community organisations prefer to work.
How do we use our senses to pay attention to the natural world? We’re working with a group of researchers from interdisciplinary backgrounds to develop a project around multi-sensory noticing. Through playful, creative workshops, we’ll invite people to share observations and stories of our gardens and grounds. This will form the start of a new garden journal, unique to Forgan Arts Centre and Newport-on-Tay, that everyone can contribute to.
