Independent Artist-in-Residence
Fleur Darkin was in residence across North East Fife working with artists, participants, and art organisations, including Forgan Arts Centre.
Fleur Darkin is a world-leading choreographer, dancer and director. Formerly Artistic Director of Scottish Dance Theatre, the company toured extensively across Scotland and the UK, and to Sweden, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Korea, Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Brazil, Hungary, and France, with repeated tours in India, China, and Mexico. Under her direction, the company produced 23 new works and worked with more than 90 artists.
This residency took place across 2023 and 2024. It was supported by Creative Scotland, Fife Council, The National Lottery Communities Fund, and The Stafford Trust.
