Children’s Art Club is our playful creative programme for 5-12 year olds, led by professional artists.
Join our artists and play workers for fun and creativity during the Fife school holidays. Children will have the chance to explore diverse mediums, discover different artists, and express themselves confidently. There will be plenty of time to play in the gardens and grounds for inspiration too.
Children’s Art Club runs Monday to Thursday. Each week introduces a new project and you can book day by day or for the full week to receive 10% discount. For any queries please email programme@forganartscentre.co.uk

About the Artist
Sofia Sefraoui is an artist and an art charity professional. She also launched her own business, Cheeky Monkey Art Club, in March 2025, where she runs workshops for P1-P7 children. She graduated in 2016 with a Master of Fine Art from The Glasgow School of Art. Sofia’s artistic journey first started with drawing and painting. She later expanded her horizons into 3D techniques and sculpture. She’s happy to call herself a multi-media artist! Her adventure working with children began in 2013 during an internship at an orphanage in Cameroon, where she led arts and crafts workshops. It was an amazing experience that sparked her love for facilitating arts and crafts workshops with kids. After graduating from GSA in 2016, she had the pleasure of volunteering for various organizations in Glasgow, such as Kinning Park Complex, Home-Start South, Kueche, and A Moment’s Peace Theatre Company. She also did workshops for children, young people, and families at Pollokshields Quad Garden and Milk, as a self-employed workshop facilitator.

What do we need to bring?
Children will need to bring their own packed lunch, as well as and an outdoor coat and sunscreen. We hope to get outside into our beautiful grounds to explore as often as possible, so please pack raincoats, as well as dressing in suitable clothing and footwear. We might get a little messy indoors too so no favourite clothes!
Suitability
The club is for all children with a love of art and crafts. Whilst Art Club is a fun, safe, supportive environment, it can be busy and noisy. We’re not a registered childcare provider and as such don’t have additional support beyond our artists and play workers. If you would like to discuss accessibility and/or attend as a carer for your child please give us a call.
Low Income Places
If you receive benefits such as income-based Council Tax, are unemployed or unable to work, these tickets are for you. There are two free places available for each session. We ask that you select one session per week, per child, so that we can share these places amongst low income families.
Please note, our Universal credit ticket no longer exists. As Universal Credit has recently restructured, our free ticket criteria has been updated to make sure that these are reaching the families who cannot afford them otherwise.
