About the class
This course is a chance to explore quilting in a relaxed and playful way. There are no set patterns to follow, so you’ll have the freedom to play with fabric, colour, shape, and stitch while making a quilt that is unique to you.
You’ll learn simple patchwork techniques, along with the skills to make a quilt from start to finish. You’ll be guided through each stage, from developing your ideas and piecing your quilt top to layering, quilting, binding, and finishing your work. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a completed quilt, up to 50 × 50 cm, ready to use at home or hang on the wall.
This course welcomes all skill levels and will include a mixture of machine and hand stitching. It is for anyone who is curious about exploring quilting in a relaxed hands on way.
