About the residency
Fleur Darkin will be in residence across North East Fife working with artists, participants, and art organisations, including Forgan Arts Centre. The residency will investigate new touring models for the research, development, production and development of dance in Scotland. Fleur will work with participants to co-create workshops, activity, and new dance performance at the centre.
About the artist
Fleur Darkin is a world-leading choreographer, dancer and director. Formerly Artistic Director of Scottish Dance Theatre, the company toured extensively across Scotland and the UK, and to Sweden, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Korea, Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Brazil, Hungary, and France, with repeated tours in India, China, and Mexico. Under her direction, the company produced 23 new works and worked with more than 90 artists.
