Contemporary Arts & Culture Centre Newport-On-Tay
Forgan Arts Centre is a thriving hub rooted in the community and strives to offer educational and cultural opportunities to people of all ages and abilities, in an environment that enriches well-being.
Established in 1978, the Centre offers a wide variety of modern and traditional classes and events to the residents of Newport-On-Tay and surrounding towns and villages. Weekly classes include Pottery, Upholstery, Jewellery, Painting, Dressmaking, Charcoal drawing, Printing, Stained Class, Watercolour, Photography, Life Drawing and more! In addition to our popular, long-running courses, we run new workshops, classes and events each season – so be sure to keep an eye on what we’re doing. You can follow us on Facebook and Instagram too.
The Centre is a Registered Charity (SCO08537), managed by a volunteer Management Committee and run by our Centre Coordinator team. Committee meetings are held approximately every two months. Additionally, there is an Annual General Meeting which all members are welcome to attend.
We are largely self-supporting through running classes and events, and also currently receive some grant support from Fife Council.
